Page Menu: Origins - Victimized Twice - The Politics
Crime scene cleanup politics as found here deals with more than cleaning after homicides, suicides, and unattended deaths.
The project of biohazard cleanup finds articulation among the following pages. This project remains a central concern here. More though, we understand that crime scene cleanup as used here also has a political dimension in the more narrow sense of politics. Hence, crime scene cleanup politics.
Here's an abbreviated look at what readers find among these pages, which will change with time:
- Crime scene cleanup as a business,
- Crime scene cleanup as an occupation,
- Crime scene cleanup as a county government golden egg.
- Crime scene cleanup monopolies
- Crime scene cleanup in the free enterprise sector of our United States economic system.

Origins of Political Crime Scene Cleanup
Occupational Safety & Health Administration Standards Bloodborne Pathogens - Bloodborne Pathogens means pathogenic microorganisms that are present in human blood and can cause disease in humans. These pathogens include, but are not limited to, hepatitis B virus (HVB) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
1. Crime scene cleanup as a business arose from legislation created by our United States Congress after the medical industry lobbied for labors' benefit. It turns out that needle stick by infected syringes caused hundreds of medical workers' lives every year. Human Immune Deficiency and Hepatitis B and C infected doctors, nurses, nurses aids, and others. Even laboratory workers were at risk.
Besides medical workers, other workers in other fields were included in this worker safety legislation. So it came to be that county and city civil servants came under this legislation. Known as an Occupational Safety and Health Administration bloodborne pathogen policed regulation, it came to represent a horrific political albatross in our capitalist conditions.
At stake we find misinformation, propaganda, and a public mislead by their own city and county employees.
Victimized Twice
Many times a day county employees working in coroner and medical examiner offices mislead families victimized by homicide and suicide. These government employees send victims' families to cleaning companies of the employees' choosing. Families are not informed that the Internet and Yellow Pages contain needed information.

Instead, employees profit from families misfortunes. Sent to employees private biohazard cleanup companies, employees rip off millions a year from grieving families. At other times, these government employees send unsuspecting families to cleaning companies that pay a reward to cooperating government employees. What this means becomes evident from an example. See this writer's mass murder page for an example of the size of these rewards. Suffice it to say, rewards usually pay out at about 10 percent while some go higher. It's a big money industry supported by tax payers and victims of homicide and suicide.
The Politics
A short glance at Washington DC tells us where all of this leads eventually, inevitably. Before long, crime scene cleanup companies as well as county and city employees begin orchestration local elections. The county board of supervisors becomes hand-picked by these cronies in death cleanup. Most probably this proto-fascism has lead to the successful careers of county administrations many times.
There's much more to the politics of it all besides the obvious. There's that old notion that political is personal and the personal is political.
We have many people who would thrive in this death cleanup industry. Given the opportunity, many carpet cleaners would enter this field. They have the tools for doing excellent crime scene cleanup work. Already equipped with literally equipped with dozens of horse power, their machines offer a practical solution to massive trauma scenes.
More importantly, by removing the local government monopoly over homicide, suicide, and unattended death cleanup, prices would fall. No more would poor families suffer from cleaning after these horrific events.
There's much more to the politics. There's a national and international political thrust. There's the most important thrust of this sort of politics, environmental cleanup worldwide and locally. When it comes to criminal conduct, we see generations leaving horrific environmental conditions behind. We see a near total abandonment of environmental ethics. We see soiling of the commons in a criminally negligence manner by today's generation.
We see the Pacific Vortex as one of the more obvious examples of our breed-and-consume mentality. Billions of plastic bags, hundreds of millions of tons of plastic toys, containers, and other objects float in the Pacific Ocean. At its current size, equal to or exceeding the size of Texas, this vortex becomes feeding ground for small fish, especially at night.
Besides creating an eye-sore, this plastic becomes part of the food chain. Small fish dine on what they can swallow. That's how it works in these wild waters. Critters eat what they can swallow. Then they become food for larger fish, and so on.
But this sort of criminally negligent behavior belongs to the obvious. Environmentalist have discussed the ecological nightmare every since lactic came into the market place. Spoiling the seas with plastic first appeared among the pages of the National Geographic; then other publications made note of this growing catastrophe for future generations. Still, we've ignored this crime against the future.
Now we're talking the ultimate, unseen, and very ecologically derived catastrophic events in global warming. Members of the 1 percent prefer that their control over the corporate media produce propaganda. They prefer that politics reflect a so-called "balanced approach," while all the while weighing in on the side of corporate greed. So our voting public to this day believes that "science" needs to fully discern this possible earth warming trend.
These ideas and more like them add to the personal and social politics arising from human greed and selfishness. From lies and criminal conduct against future generations, we find crimie at all levels of government and business. Where we need truth and science, we find lies and money driven myth.
Where we find civil servants, we find predators preying on innocent families who must deal with the most tragic circumstances. So where an honest relationship should lead our civil servants, we find the worse in human behavior.
None of this makes our future generations look safe from the social structures and patterns of behavior that we've created.
